Prof. Dr. Burcu Karabey, an academic staff at Bodrum Faculty of Fine Arts -Department of Ceramics, applied to be candidate for International Academy of Ceramics and was selected as a member.
The International Academy of Ceramics, founded in 1952 and became the cultural partner of UNESCO in 2001, has 896 members from 73 countries. The Academy brings together ceramicists, potters, artists, designers, writers, collectors, galleries, conservators, restorers, curators and prestigious institutions.
